The 77-year-old actress confirmed the news of her daughter’s demise by way of a press release posted Monday on her official fan membership web site, citing the tragic incident as “sudden.” Davies was well-known for portraying the youthful model of her real-life mom on the daytime cleaning soap opera One Life to Live.

How did One Life to Live actress Amanda Davies die?

Though stunning, the reason for Davies’ demise is but to be disclosed. The assertion on Slezak’s web site reads, “It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Erika’s daughter Amanda Elizabeth Davies who died very suddenly. The family is heartbroken and would appreciate privacy at this time,” per Entertainment Weekly.

Apart from her “very sudden” demise, no different particulars have been revealed about Davies, who was 42 on the time. The news comes lower than two months after one other One Life to Live star’s demise. Puerto Rican actor Kamar de los Reyes, who portrayed cop Antonio Vega within the sequence, died on the age of 56 on December 24, 2023, after a short battle with most cancers.

Davies was born to Slezak and American Gigolo star Brian Davies in 1981. She performed the teenage model of her mother, Slezak’s character Victoria “Viki” Lord, on the ABC cleaning soap opera in a sequence of flashbacks within the years 2002 and 2013.
